NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides are non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, DNase and RNase-free and human DNA free. They are designed to prevent cross contamination. NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides have an easy to open mechanism for disassembly of the chamber and slide. Simply snap down the locks on the side of the slide and lift the unit to remove the chamber and slide from the base. The chamber itself can then be easily removed by hand for slide viewing. No tools are needed.

The base of NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides is made from polypropylene, the chamber is made from white polystyrene, the lid is made from polypropylene and the slide is made from borosilicate glass with a thickness of 1 mm (+/-0.1 mm) and there is no surface treatment to the glass. NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides allow scientists to grow cells directly on a slide without the need for transferring to a different growth chamber. NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides are of a standard 25 x 75 mm size. They have a growth area of 2.13 cm2 and a working volume of 0.5 – 1.3 mL per well. NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides have an inert hydrophobic green border printed on them to allow for easy identification of the cell culture area. NEST Cell Culture Chamber Slides come in packs of 6 slides per tray. The tray can double up as an incubation rack for use in incubators.
