Introducing the LUNA-FX7™ – the automated cell counter that builds on the success of its predecessors. The LUNA-FX7™ is our most powerful cell counter to date, with unmatched cell counting accuracy, a maximum counting volume of 5 µL (10 times that of conventional cell counters), all new optics, dual fluorescence and brightfield illumination, a fast and precise autofocus, and multichannel pipette-ready 8-channel slides to count up to eight sample simultaneously. To help monitor and optimize bioprocesses, the LUNA-FX7™ has built-in quality control features and precision validation slides. 21 CFR Part 11-ready, the LUNA-FX7™ improves the security and efficiency of a lab’s workflow.
THE END TO THE ACCURACY DEBATE.
Sample size counts. The effect of cell counting volume on accuracy is easily overlooked. Most automated cell counters are designed to detect cells in 0.5 µL, roughly the equivalent of five squares on a traditional hemocytometer. The LUNA-FX7™ has an unmatched maximum counting volume of 5 µL, which means lower error and %CV for each count. This also means the LUNA-FX7™ has a larger dynamic range and can accurately count cells in even dilute samples – without having to concentrate cell samples.
MULTIPLE SAMPLES IN ONE GO.
The LUNA-FX7™ gives you the flexibility to analyze more than one sample at a time . Use your multichannel pipette to load up our new 8-channel slide to process up to eight samples simultaneously. The LUNA-FX7™ is also compatible with our standard 2-channel LUNA™ Cell Counting Slides and PhotonSlides™. Unlike our classic models, the LUNA-FX7™ can count both chambers without needing to remove and reinsert the slide.
ALL ABOUT CONFIDENCE. VALIDATION SLIDES AND BUILT-IN QUALITY CONTROL.
To make daily quality control checks possible, we’ve developed a set of validation slides with permanently fixed beads to validate your LUNA-FX7™ for measurements in cell centration and viability. With no pipetting error possible, it is simple to confirm daily that your device is in the same peak condition as the day you bought it. The LUNA-FX7™ also comes with separate quality control software that can save validation results directly to the device. The resulting quality control data is plotted and can be monitored on a Levey-Jennings Chart.
UNIQUE BIOPROCESS MODE
A new bioprocess feature allows you to monitor, record, and analyze your different bioprocessing activities individually. Growth rates and trend charts may be produced that enable you to trace production and accurately forecast timelines.
COUNTWIRE™: 21 CFR PART 11 COMPLIANCE (COMING SOON)
When operated in 21 CFR Part 11 mode, the LUNA-FX7™ can provide regulatory compliant electronic records and signature. Our innovative CountWire™ software allows you to remotely access and manage data from multiple units of LUNA-FX7™ connected to the networks.
