Description
PI Cell Viability Kit (500 tests) – Two (2) vials of 0.5ml Propidium Iodide solution used for dead cells only in fluorescence cell counting mode.
Propidium iodide (or PI) is an intercalating fluorescent dye that can be used to stain cells. When PI is bound to nucleic acids, the fluorescence excitation maximum is 535 nm and the emission maximum is 617 nm.
